Kellene Appel

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Kellene Appel serves as Director – Finance and Portfolio Management at IDV, LLC, where she oversees financial strategy across the firm’s development portfolio. She focuses on driving project performance through disciplined financial oversight and coordination with joint venture partners, lenders, and internal teams to ensure successful business plan execution.

Prior to joining IDV, Kellene held leadership roles in commercial real estate development and oil and gas, managing finance, accounting, and project controls initiatives. She has led the closing of more than $425 million in construction, CTL, and refinance transactions and supported a portfolio exceeding 7 million square feet across industrial, retail, and land assets. She also led large-scale system and process improvements, including portfolio-wide financial reporting and software implementations.

Kellene earned a BBA in Finance with a minor in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She serves her community as Treasurer for various Boards: Survivor’s Shield Coalition, ACRP Houston, Friendswood H.S. FFA Alumni and Supporters, Friendswood J.H. Band Booster Club, and as a Director for Brazoria Co. MUD No. 65.
